The Challenge
These states have fewer hospitals per capita compared to Southern and Western India. Major Referral Hubs
Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow (KGMU, SGPGI) and Varanasi (BHU) are the two primary hubs. Western UP patients also access Delhi hospitals via portability.
